About the Artist
The work of Tom Sachs (b. 1966, New York, NY) explores the intersection of art and consumer culture. Often remixing commercial detritus with a hot glue gun and duct tape, Sachs reveals a world where luxury brands and fast food — high and low culture -  collide. Major solo exhibitions include the Deutsche Guggenheim, Berlin (2003) and Fondazione Prada, Milan (2006).
